Transmitters These lightweight, high power transmitters have evolved both inside and out for two decades now. You'll find transmitters to be carefully thought out and meticulously designed from every angle. On the outside, the intricately machined, laser-engraved casings reflect our constant attention to detail and finish. While more costly and difficult to produce, machining the cases from the toughest aircraft aluminum alloys gives the most precise way to achieve the tight tolerances needed and also provides the best protection for what's inside. On the inside, the 2005 models all incorporate our new, extremely efficient and rock-solid circuitry. You can count on temperature stable operation, a high-shock design with an even more powerful signal in a transmitter that will last season after season. All transmitters now incorporate the convenient and popular 'Tap-on/Tap-off' magnetic control switch, a low-battery indicator and fuel gauge, and extreme low temperature performance when battery voltage can drop down to a trickle that would kill other transmitters. It's no longer necessary to put your bird at risk using the long 13-inch antennas of the past. All transmitters, whether ordered in standard 216 or 218 MHz frequencies, are shipped standard with a short and safe 7 or 9-inch antenna. The three designs detailed below each have a different intended use. The "Transmitters at a Glance" table found at the bottom of the page highlights the specifications and comparisons for each. Shown to the right is a PowerMax on a BackPack Harness with a Micro as a tail mount, on a 550g tiercel peregrine (f.p. cassini).
