Detectnu Products is pleased to introduce the Global Location Service ( GLS ), a personal and portable tracking device unlike anything available.

The GLS allows costumers to remotely track the position of a small device that can easily be attached to a loved one, pet, asset or any other important item that the person would like to locatein real-time through the Internet or by placing a phone call. The GLS utilizes existing GPS ( Global Positioning Satellite ) technology, as well as GPRS ( General Packet Radio Service ), SMS ( Standard Messaging System ) and GSM ( Global System for Mobile Communications ) to give the end-user a complete solution.

Through advanced engineering and design, the GLS revolutionizes the personal tracking industry, allowing costumers worldwide to know the precise location of the device with a few keystrokes or simply by placing a phone call. In addition to the tracking capabillity, in most countries the unit also functions as a cellular telephone. Parents can easily affix the GLS to their child and know if they are safe, where they should be, track their locaiton in the event they are lost or abducted, or receive a distress SOS call from the child in the event of emergency. Families with aging relatives can be free from worry that there loved-ones can reach them on a moment's notice and transmit their exact location if they need assitance.

Pet owners can rest assured that their beloved pets remain within the confines of their yard or can be located in the event they wander off. Corporations can track valuable assets, such as inventory, Laptop, Computers, etc.. and know its precise location or receive an alert if it has been moved from a particulair location. Additional applications include fleet managament tracking, personal security for independent workers, safety locaters devices for police officers and fire/rescue personnel, ransom tracking, and so much more.

A key component to the GLS is the website control panel, through this password protected user interface, the costumer can locate their tracking devices, each indicated by name such as Michele, Fido, Laptop, etc......Through proprietary mapping software, users can see down to street and building level detail for the location of their device, or zoom out to get a wider angle of the device's location. Users can define a territory, known as Geofencing, in which the device can travel freely without sending an alert to the user's cell phone or other designated telephone number. When the device travels outside the geofenced territory, an alert is immediately sent to user's computer, cell phone or other determine phone that the device has travelled outside the approved area. The user could then determine the location of the device through the online web panel, or the event that they do not have immediate access to the internet, receive the exact location on their cellular phone, or call a costumer support centre to locate the device for them. Through the website, the costumer can also manage the notification of the alert functions and determine which phone numbers are set up to receive alerts or SOS calls. The interface allows for multiple notifications, so for example, if a child is being racked and goes outside the geofenced area, an alert can be sent to Mum and dad, as well as any other caregiver or adult the parents wish to notify.
